WELCOME TO the Achterhoek, WELCOME TO De Weelderik.
De Weelderik is a brand-new small-scale park in the Achterhoek. That's why we sometimes receive a question, we answer all these questions below!
General questions
Until when can I cancel a booking?
We believe flexible cancellation conditions are important, which is why we deviate from Article 6 of the general industry conditions.
- You can cancel with us free of charge up to 2 months before the arrival date. Then you will get your money back - even without giving a reason.
- You can also rebook for free up to 1 month before arrival. You will then receive a voucher equal to the travel sum paid.
These cancellation conditions only apply to bookings made via www.deweelderik.nl.
When do I pay for my vacation?
We request a 30% prepayment for the stay when you book. You can pay the other 70% at a later date, but at least 30 days before arrival. Are you booking within 30 days? You pay the entire fee at once when booking.
How does the deposit policy work?
At De Weelderik, we require a security deposit of €250 per reservation to help maintain the quality of our luxury facilities, such as private pools and saunas. We kindly ask that this amount be paid no later than five days before arrival. After your stay, the deposit will be refunded to your account within three working days, provided the accommodation and facilities are left in good condition.
In the rare case that damage or loss is detected, we will always contact you first. After careful investigation and in consultation with you, it may be decided to withhold part or all of the deposit to cover any costs. This way, we work together to ensure a high-quality experience for all guests at De Weelderik.
Can I also indicate a preferred spot while booking?
If you want to stay in a preferred spot, you can (if still available) definitely reserve it. Could you please indicate while booking which vacation home appeals to you the most? We'll try our best to reserve it for you!
When can I check in and when do I have to check out?
You can check in from 4 p.m. Do you want to check in earlier? Please let us know, we'll try to arrange it for you. You can check out until 10 a.m., except for Sunday, then you can stay until 8 p.m. You have to hand in the key of your vacation home at the club house.
Where can I park?
You can freely park two cars at each vacation home. There also are charging points on the central parking lot!
How far away are the homes from each other?
The map of De Weelderik shows which homes are in which location and what the distance between the homes is.
Extras & additional bookings
I will bring (young) children and would like to add a cot and/or high chair to my booking. Is this possible?
Certainly, the furniture can be added while making the booking.
Pets
Can my pet join my vacation at De Weelderik?
Certainly, no problem. The area is perfect for a great hike with your pet. You can bring up to 2 pets on vacation homes. They must remain leashed on De Weelderik.
Because of an allergy I'd like to stay in a home no pets were in, is this possible?
Could you indicate this in the remarks field when booking? Then we'll take care of it, no problem!
Facilities
Which facilities does De Weelderik have?
De Weelderik is full of facilities, such as a padel court, a multi court, fire pit, pétanque court, and a club house. All facilities are described on our website.
Swimming pool & sauna
Is our private swimming pool heated?
Yes, therefor you can - if you book a vacation home with swimming pool - enjoy a fresh dive into your private swimming pool all year!
Is the swimming pool safe for children?
The Roldeck cover is certified by French standard NF 90-308. That means the cover should be able to carry the weight of an adult. However, we should clearly state that parents are still responsible for the actions of their own children.
How big is the private swimming pool at the vacation home?
The swimming pool is 5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide.
